This website to which the Terms and Conditions and its contents are owned and maintained by Kate O’Connor, Clinical Hypnotherapist and Acupuncturist (herein referred to as ‘we’ or ‘our’) and governed by these Terms and Conditions. 

We offer the Website, including all information, tools, and services available from the Website to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms and conditions stated.

By accessing, using, subscribing, or placing an order over the Website, you (including any sub users you may have) agree to the terms and conditions set in this document.


APPOINTMENTS

At the time of writing appointments are made via email, phone, or text, and very soon to be, the online booking system. We request when fully operational the online booking system is utilised rather than email, phone or text.

Acupuncture Appointments

Acupuncture sessions can be booked online or via phone or text. The initial session will last one hour and subsequent ones usually 45 minutes. The charge for a treatment is $90.

Injuries are covered by an ACC subsidy, however a clinic charge of $50 applies. This ACC treatment subsidy can only be granted if it has been already approved by ACC following a lodging of a claim through your doctor or if you have already been seeing another health provider e.g. physiotherapist, osteopath or chiropractor. The claim can only be valid if the injury happened within a year of presentation.

Hypnotherapy Appointments

Discovery call for Hypnotherapy

This clinic offers a confidential 30 min obligation free call (either in person, over zoom or phone) to discuss your needs and challenges and what you wish to achieve. This will then allow me to recommend a plan especially tailored to meet your requirements and individual needs.

Hypnosis Sessions

Most hypnotherapy sessions will take 3 – 5 sessions or more depending on your concerns. It will become evident during the discovery call how many sessions will be necessary for you.

An initial session will take 90 minutes and subsequent sessions will be 1 hour.

​Quit smoking using the Breathe Quit Technique will involve 1 session only.


CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations for hypnotherapy:

Cancellations less than 24 hours before a session, or a failure to show, will incur the full charge of the session. If your session was part of a paid programme then that session will be forfeited. If you have cancelled well in advance of 24 hours then no charge is made.

Cancellations must be done via email reply to the confirmation email you would have received upon booking the appointment. Please check your spam / junk mail folder and add email address to your safe list. Alternatively, you can advise via phone call or text message to phone: (+64) 273065967.

​For those unable to complete a paid programme there is no refund, however, any remaining sessions can be used at a suitable time within 6 months.

In circumstances where a client makes excessive cancellations without sufficient cause, as determined by us, we reserve the right to terminate a program agreement. If this occurs the client will incur the full charge of the session or program and no refunds will be given. 

​Cancellations for acupuncture clients:

Cancellations by the client less than 24 hours prior to the appointment, or a failure to show, will incur the full charge of the session. When appointments with an ACC subsidy are cancelled, or not attended, the full charge of a non-subsidised treatment will be charged, e.g. $90 (the charge at the time of writing).

PAYMENTS

Payments made with online bookings will be through Stripe for those outside of New Zealand. Within New Zealand payment can be made through Stripe or online banking, and face to face payments can be made through eftpos or online banking.

Acupuncture payments can be made via eftpos, online banking or cash. No credit card payments are accepted.

Hypnotherapy payments are required via eftpos or online banking either after the discovery call or at least 2 days prior to the appointment. These payments are made in total or part payments depending on the agreement with the hypnotherapist. There will be no refunds for a programme purchased if treatments have begun, instead if a break is required during therapy the remaining sessions can be taken within a year of purchase.

Cost for 5 sessions $1040.00 if paid by installments or $936.00 (10% discount) if paid on booking.
